Introduction
Green Neighbourhood Communities seeks to create a network of families and neighbours that share a desire to boost the grene transition. We wish to connect like-minded people interested in launching climate, biodiversity and environmental initiatives where they live and boost the number of sustainable activities in their local area. Science has shown that it is easier to lead a sustainable life when you being a part of a green community. The goal is for peers to share inspiration and come up with local impactful green solutions.

What is Green Neighbourhood Communities?
Green Neighbourhood Communities is a network of self-organizing groups striving to accelerate the green tradition across Denmark.
Green Neighbourhood Communities emerged follow a realization that communities could help lower the CO2 impact of individual citizens, thereby accelerating the green transition.
We have found that many families and individuals in Denmark are eager to contribute to the green transition and find peers in their local communiities to meet up with for inspiration.
The purpose of Green Neighbourhood Communities is to create a platform for families and neighbours who are interested in a more sustainable. The local groups determine their own agendas and choose how to proceed.
Initiatives include ride-sharing activities, repair cafees and pocked forests inspired by the Miyawaki method.
Other activities include sharing plants and seeds, taking garden tours for inspiration and sharing ideas and thoughts for a more biodiverse garden.
The possibilities are practically endless.
